This walking tour is a new activity that replaces the traditional elephant riding tours. It offers visitors the chance to observe elephants in their natural forest environment, helping to ensure better welfare for the animals.
Guests will follow a local guide on a light trek into the forest, walking along the paths where elephants roam. From a safe distance, you'll watch the elephants in their natural habitat and learn about their daily behaviors. Along the way, your guide will share fascinating stories about elephants, including their role in local traditions and culture.
In addition to the elephant experience, visitors will also discover the rich biodiversity of the Lak Landscape Protection Forest.

Tour Itinerary
Before the journey begins, guests will be welcomed at our Rest Stop Station located at National Road 27, Buôn Dơng Guôl, Liên Sơn Commune, Lắk District (about 200 meters from Lắk Pass), where safety instructions and check-in procedures will be carried out.
From there, a vehicle and tour guide will take guests on a 3-kilometer ride to the forest gate, along a concrete road flanked by forest on one side and the vast Lắk Lake rice fields on the other.
At the forest gate, the group will start a 2-kilometer trek over hilly terrain and narrow trails, following elephant tracks deep into the forest until reaching the spot where elephants roam freely in their natural habitat.
Guests will observe the elephants from a safe distance, while listening to the tour guide and mahout share stories about the elephants' behavior, characteristics, and their cultural significance in local traditions. The guide will also introduce the forest’s landscape and biodiversity.
Toward the end of the tour, the group will return to the forest entrance, where the vehicle and guide will take guests back to the Rest Stop Station — marking the end of the program.
