Tour description

At 1,643 meters above sea level, Chu Yang Lak Peak is known as one of the most beautiful cloud-hunting trekking spots in Southern Vietnam. The peak resembles a human face and is regarded by local people as a sacred mountain — a guardian spirit in their indigenous beliefs.

On this journey, you'll hike along forest trails and streams, exploring the rich biodiversity of the tropical evergreen forest. Along the way, your local guide may introduce you to rare plant species and share stories about the spiritual connection between the forest and the local community.

Reaching the summit offers a rewarding moment of rest, where you can take in the vast landscape — a panoramic view of mountain ranges, Lắk Lake, and traditional villages far below.

2-Day, 1-Night Trekking Program:

This option is perfect for travelers with average physical fitness who prefer a slower pace to fully explore and connect with nature.
The trek begins at 7:00 AM on Day 1 and ends around 4:30 PM on Day 2, when the group descends the mountain.

Note

The Forest Management Board does not provide full-package tour services.
Therefore, transportation to Lắk Landscape Forest (Đắk Lắk Province), as well as meals and accommodation, must be arranged by the guests themselves. If needed, we can help connect you with trusted local service providers.

  • The tour fee includes only the tour guide.
Solo travelers are welcome to join group tours to share the guide cost. Each group is limited to a maximum of 20 participants.

  • Children under 16 years old and guests with heart, lung, or musculoskeletal conditions are not eligible to join this tour.

  • This is a challenging adventure tour, so all participants are required to sign a waiver with the Forest Management Board before joining.

  • Advance booking is required so we can best prepare for your visit.

What to Bring:

  • Trekking shoes or sandals with good grip and drainage

  • Lightweight, breathable clothing; long pants and a light long-sleeve jacket are recommended

  • A hat and sunscreen

  • Some light snacks like chocolate bars, biscuits, or sweet candies

  • A flashlight/headlamp, in case you descend the mountain later than expected

If you are satisfied with our service, tipping the staff is appreciated as a way to encourage their continued good work.

If you wish to enjoy a local-style dinner, stay overnight in a traditional stilt house, and join a cultural campfire with gong music performed by village artisans, we can help arrange that for you.
